It is probably little-known that Dublin used to have league fixtures with both Bristol and Liverpool.
Dublin and Bristol played in the same league from 1908 until 1912 (when Dublin got relegated; Bristol followed in 1913).
After winning promotion again, Dublin met Liverpool in every season from 1920 until 1923, when they were relegated again.
The league in question was the Uruguayan national league; all three teams were based in Montevideo.
