NOTES:

(1) España did not play in 1931-32 season; the team was dissolved in 1950.

(2) Between 1918 and 1920, América changed its name to Centro Unión.
  
(3) Between 1970/71 and 1981/82 Necaxa changed its name to Atletico Español; after 2002/03 Necaxa moved to Aguasacalientes.

(4) Atlante did not play in first level in seasons 1976-77 and 1990-91, in 1989-90 played 
    in Querétaro and between 2002 and 2003 in Ciudad Nezahualcoyotl, from 2007 to 2020 played 
    in Cancún, relocated again in Mexico City since 2020.

(5) Marte moved to Cuernavaca in 1953/54, relegated in 1954/55, dissolved in 1956.

(6) Atlas relegated in the seasons 1954-55, 1971-72 and 1978-79. Since 2010 Guadalajara play its home matches in Zapopan (urbanity of Guadalajara City).

(7) Monterrey play its home matches in Guadalupe (urbanity of Monterrey city) since 2015.

(8) Tecos U.A.G. changed its name to Estudiantes Tecos U.A.G. from 2009 and 2014.

(9) Texcoco and Ciudad Nezahualcoyotl are parte of urbanity of Mexico City.

(10) Cruz Azul was founded in Jasso (Ciudad Cooperativa), the team was relocated in Mexico City in 1971.

(11) Tampico-Madero was promoted to first level for 1994/95 season, however the team was relocated in Querétaro in midseason.


Mexico 70 is an official tournament played in 1970 depicted chronologically as part of 1969/70 and also 1970/71, played between both mentioned tournaments
