Edwin van der Sar - Century of International Appearances

The outstanding Dutch 'keeper, who obtained 130 international caps with his National Team, has entered the symbolic but exclusive circle of players with a Century of Caps.

He holds the Dutch caps record since June 21, 2006 (when he equalled the total of Frank de Boer). He holds the Dutch caps record for goalkeepers since August 20, 2003 (when he equalled the total of Hans van Breukelen).

He established a record series of 38 consecutive appearances (caps 71-108) which was not interrupted by any other matches of the Dutch national team. This broke the previous record of 35 established by Roel Wiersma between 1954 and 1959.

All matches are friendlies unless stated otherwise.
