[With about three minutes left to play, the game was interrupted
for nearly twenty minutes by a blackout. When the lights came back
on, the players said that they were risking injury to warm up and
play again, so they had decided to split the money equally between
the teams. The move amounted to an insurrection since the remaining
fans, officials, team managers, and media people wanted a conclusion
to the affair. The players were adamant, however, and said they would
not take the field, and rejected even finishing the game with penalty kicks.]
