Cuba - List of Women Champions

Baleares and Juventud Asturiana played women's matches during the 1930s, with Baleares having the upper hand. Women's football then disappeared from the island until 1952; on 8 June 1952, Deportivo Cuba and Habana played a women's match which finished 1-1. Between 1964 and 1970, women's matches were played at the Educación Física Manuel Fajardo, between teams representing the 4 years of the study there. The first national championship was not held until 2002 in Camagüey province.
