Notes:
* The great reform about Japanese football, former JSL (Japan
Soccer League, 1st level, as amateur) finished its last season
  on 29th March, 1992.
Already, 10 teams were announced to become new founded
"the Japan Professional League", known as "J.League" for 1993.
These clubs played in the league cup (Yamazaki Nabisco Cup) in
  autumn 1992.
On the other hand, these clubs included not selected teams
for the founders in J.League. For example, Yamaha and Hitachi.

Clubs from JSL (Div.1 or 2) to JFL Div.1:
   Div. 1 - Yamaha (3rd in 1991/92), Toshiba (4th), Hitachi (9th),
            Honda Motor (10th)
Div. 2 - Fujita (champion), Yanmer Diesel (3rd), NKK (4th),
            Fujitsu (5th), Otsuka (6th), Tokyo Gas (7th),
Clubs from JSL Div.2 to JFL Div.2:
Kawasaki Steel (8th), NTT Kanto (9th), Kofu (10th),
Cosmo Oil (11th), Chuuou Bouhan (12th), Toho Titanium (13th),
Kyoto Shiko (14th), Tanabe Seiyaku (15th)

* Two regional clubs joined through the Regional League Final
Tournament in last season, Osaka Gas (the champion, Kansai)
and Seinou Transportation (3rd, Tokai). The runners-up in RLFT,
Osaka Univ. of Health and Sport sciences Kemari-Dan, a satellite
team of its football club, didn't participate JFL.
* No team was promoted (joined) to J.League in next season.
After this season, J.League introduced "associate member" system
for JFL clubs, which admired to join J.League. One of the main
condition was, the team had to become the champion or runners-up
  in JFL.
* Tanabe Seiyaku and Osaka Gas were relegated to Kansai League,
  as regional.
