Yugoslavia B tour of Asia 1955/56


A Yugoslavian B team toured Asia in prepation of the 1956 Olympics in December 1955 and January and February 1956, playing matches in Burma, Indonesia, Hongkong and China. The side contained a number of regular national team players (e.g. Beara, Boskov, Crnković, Krstić, Veselinović) and was presented as the national side in Indonesia, with anthems being played before the match on January 15th.

According to a report in De Nieuwsgier of December 24th, 1955, the Yugoslavia side to visit
Indonesia contained 15 players, of which 3 had been part of the Yugoslavia side which visited
Indonesia in 1953.  In fact, according to the information available, the 15-men squad included 
two such players: Mujić and Veselinović
