Japan (Women) 2004/05


L-League (Japan Woman's Football League) 2004
(the 16th championship)

L-League began two division system from this season.
Eight teams played in Division 1 - six were that played its final 
round in 2003, the other two were winner of L1 play-off in last December. 
Two Losers of play-off played in Division 2 with other five teams.

NB:
Saitama Reinas hoped itself into Urawa Red Diamonds, J.League Division 1.
  They founded new team, Urawa Red Diamonds Ladies just before next season,
  in April 2005.
TASAKI Perule changed its name a little, from Tasaki Perule FC before this
  season.
NTV Beleza was same as Ni-tele Beleza. NTV and Ni-tele is shortened name
  of Nihon Television (means Japan Television).
YKK AP Flappers changed its name from YKK Tohoku Flappers before this
  season, and sold itself to TEPCO (Tokyo Electric Power Corp.) in Feb
  2005. New name was TEPCO Mareeze.
Okayama Yunogo Belle promoted from Division 2 in next season.

These are ladies teams of same name J.League clubs, Albirex Niigata and
  JEF United Ichihara. Niigata was new member in this season.

  same as its brother team.
INAC Leonessa became new team in next season.
