Pegasus was an amateur club consisting of past and present students of the Universities of Cambridge and Oxford. They were the FA Amateur Cup holders at the time of the tour, and the team contained seven England amateur international players. All games at the Caroline Hill stadium (South China AA) 1-1-54 All Hong Kong 4-1 Pegasus 2-1-54 Hong Kong Selection 1-0 Pegasus 5-1-54 Combined Chinese 4-1 Pegasus In addition, the team played a one-day cricket match vs Hong Kong Cricket Club, on 3-1-54. The result was a draw: Pegasus declared on 228 for 9 (H.J. Potts 103), and HKCC replied with 188 for 8.
