Scotland - Dewar Shield 1898-1983

Tournament played between the winners of the Aberdeenshire, Forfarshire, Perthshire and Stirlingshire Cups, the winners being declared champions of the four Northern counties.
The shield was presented by Lord Provost Dewar of Perth, one of the sons of the founder of the John Dewar & Sons whisky distillery. The Fifeshire FA were denied inclusion in order to retain the four club symmetry of the tournament.
Only played irregularly after the fifties, last in 1982.´
