Played by 153 teams:
 - all 20 clubs of First Division. 
 - 17 (out of 20) clubs of Second Division. Barcelona B, Athletic B and Real Madrid B couldn't inscribe.
 - 63 (out of 80) clubs of Second Division B.
     - 3 relegated from Second A the previous season
     - 47 (out of 58) which continued from Second B of the previous season (11 excluded for being reserve teams)
     - 13 (out of 19) which were promoted from Third Division (4 renounced and 2 were reserve teams)
 - 53 (out of 340, in 17 groups) of Third Division*: 
   - 1 (out of 1) relegated from Second A to Third (Sabadell had an administrative relegation)
   - 9 (out of 14) clubs relegated from Second B. (Betis B excluded as reserve team; 4 renounced)
   - 43 top six of each of the 17 groups the previous season (19 had been promoted) 
        (if any of them was a reserve team, its place goes to the next in the table)
 - 2 from Regional levels. This season, 4 teams relegated from Second B to Third suffered also an administrative relegation
     to Regional levels; tow of them (Valdepeñas and Marino Tenerife Sur) also inscribed in the Cup, but withdrew before of playing.

* The number of Third Division teams with right to play the Cup was 97. But the Spanish Federation wanted a reduced
  number of teams in order to have free fixtures for the National team, and offered money to the clubs wich renounced.

Clubs playing European competition get a bye until the Round of 16.
From this season, if the eliminatory is drawbm the goals scored away have a "double" value

Played by 118 teams (10 of them received a bye): 63 of Second Division B, 53 teams of 
Third Division and 2 of Regional levels, in order to qualify 64 teams.
