 - 61 (out of 80) clubs of Second Division B.
     - 3 relegated from Second A the previous season
     - 46 (out of 59) which continued from Second B of the previous season (10 excluded for being reserve teams;
             Pontevedra, Lemona and Izarra renounced)
     - 12 (out of 18) which were promoted from Third Division (Amurrio, Gernika, Europa and Casetas renounced and
             Betis B and Zaragoa B were reserve teams)
 - 17 (out of 345, in 17 groups) of Third Division: 
   - 1 (out of 1) relegated from Second A to Third (Real Burgos had an administrative relegation; disappeared in Sept. 1994)
   - 11 (out of 16) clubs relegated from Second B. (Celta Turista excluded as reserve team; 4 renounced)
   - 5 (out of 10) unpromoted champions of their group the previous season
Estepona, relegated from Second B to Third suffered also an administrative relegation
     to Regional levels; he could have inscribed, but the club was disbanded.

Clubs playing European competition get a bye until the Round of 16.

On June 24th, heavy rain (unusual in June) forced to stop the match at the 79th minute. Result was 1-1 at that moment.
The last 11 minutes were played by the same 22 players in June 27th; a goal scored by Alfredo in the very first minute decided the final. 
80.000 people went to Santiago Bernabéu just to see 11 minutes of play.
