streetfootballworld festival 06

First edition.

Tournament created in memory of Colombian player Andrés Escobar, 
who was murdered after scoring an own goal in the 1994 World Cup.

Representations from Ghana and Nigeria were denied visas by the
German authorities.

Held July 2-8 in the Berlin district of Kreuzberg, featuring 
matches of 12 minutes with teams of five players, all aged 
between 16 and 21.
