Turkey - Istanbul League 1904-1914

The first İstanbul League was called "The Constantinople Football League" (also called İstanbul Pazar Lig) and started in the 1904/05 season.
The CFL put up a shield as an award. The competition would be played for ten years. Each season's winner was written on a silver plate and the shield was awarded to the club with most wins over those ten years.

1904/05

Final Standings:

 1.HMS Imogene
 2.Moda FC
 3.Cadi-keuy FC
 4.Elpis FC

1905/06

Reported Final Table:

 1.Cadi-keuy FC 6 6 0 0 18- 3 12 Champions
 2.HMS Imogene 6 11- 7 10 [8?]
 3.Moda FC 6 2- 9 2 [4?]
 4.Elpis FC 6 0 0 6 1-13 0

NB: given that Imogene must have lost twice to Cadi-keuy it is not clear how they come
to be listed with 10 points - presumably this should be 8; likewise Moda must have
beaten Elpis twice and therefore obtained 4 points (unless not all teams met each
    other twice).

1906/07

Reported Final Table:

 1.Cadi-keuy FC 4 2 2 0 12- 3 6 Champions
 2.Moda FC 4 2 1 1 10- 3 5
 3.HMS Imogene 3 1 1 1 3- 1 3
 4.Galatasaray SK 3 0 2 1 1- 4 2
 5.Elpis FC 3 0 0 3 0-15 0

NB: one more loss than win; odd number of matches; presumably Elpis only played two matches,
in which case the cross-table of all results must be as follows:

       Cad Mod Imo Gal Elp
   Cad xxx 3-2 0-0 1-1 8-0
   Mod 2-3 xxx 1-0 0-0 7-0
   Imo 0-0 0-1 xxx 3-0 n/p
   Gal 1-1 0-0 0-3 xxx n/p
   Elp 0-8 0-7 n/p n/p xxx

 5.Fenerbahçe SK 8 1 1 6 2-22 3

NB: apparently two matches were awarded 0-0 losses against both teams, presumably both
    involving Cadi-keuy.

1911/12

Reported Final Table:

 1.Fenerbahçe SK 8 5 3 0 16- 5 21 Champions
 2.Rumblers FC 8 4 3 1 18- 9 19
 3.Strugglers FC 8 4 2 2 13- 8 18

 3.Rumblers FC 10 4 4 2 22-15 12
 4.Galatasaray SK 10 3 4 3 19-13 10
 5.Strugglers FC 10 2 2 6 9-26 6
 6.Telefoncular FC 10 0 0 10 2-38 0

NB: apparently one match was awarded a 0-0 loss against both teams.
