Name changes before or during season:

Mekhnat Khojent reverted to Khojent
F.Saidov Ghissar reverted to Shodmon Ghissar

Pamir Dushanbe does not exist anymore, all players moved to Uzbekistan
(better pay and no civil war). The coach (Sharif Nazarov) remained and
is trying to assemble a new team for 1997.

Dinamo Dushanbe is a completely new club based on the Department of the
Interior. Average age: 19 players.

Bofanda, Saddam Fayzali, Bokhtar and Javonon were new compared to 1995; one
of them is probably a new name for Istravshan Ura-Tyube.
